Our Vision at Compton View is to create a community. A family of elderly people living together, abandoning loneliness, isolation, fear and the burden of basic responsibilities, for a vibrant new life full of warmth, comfort and company. We want to provide the best possible care for our residents’. Our staff are part of the family unit and we invest in their training to the highest level to ensure an upskilled, educated and interested workforce, dedicated and fiercely proud of their work with the elderly people in their care.
Our Mission is to continually improve our service provision through the embedding of the 6 C’s deep within the core of everything we do. Compassion, Communication, Courage, Care, Commitment and Competence are our watchwords to ensure the security, safety and happiness of our residents as they enjoy outstanding care on every level.
Our Values are to be true to our Vision and Mission, guided by our values of integrity, kindness and trust, coupled with our desire to provide a compassionate and dignified environment. To treat our residents as the advanced human beings they are. It is our honour to care for them.
In doing this we will put people and their needs first, listen and support those in our care through honest, transparent and ethical interactions and engage in meaningful partnerships with our stakeholders.
Our uniqueness lies in the application of specialised medical knowledge and skills, not often found within the residential care setting, to our residents’ care. With two trained nurses on the premises, all our staff benefit from training in clinical skills and spotting early signs of illness or infection and our residents benefit from those extra layers of safety.
Compton View is a small, family run Residential Home where the smell of home cooking greets you as you enter and the sound of laughter can be heard from any of the cosy bedrooms as the friendly community of staff set about their busy day.
Whether you're going out, or staying in, there'll usually be something going on. Like Bingo, or an Exercise Class, or maybe a Karaoke Evening? Or maybe you fancy Candlelit Relaxation or a Yoga Class? Or maybe you fancy none of it at all and you just want to stay in your room all day and watch films. Whatever makes you happy, makes us happy too.
Compton View is run by a skilled, dedicated team. The team is headed by Jacky Edwards who amongst her extensive nursing background was named the Intensive Care Nurse of the Year in 2015.
We are fully registered with the Registered Care Providers Association.
